Troy University Extends Relationship With GoalQuest Into Yield Window University Launches Trojan Track Web-Based Pre-Orientation Program and e-Community New York, NY — May 15, 2007 GoalQuest and Troy University today announced the successful launch of Trojan Track, an interactive Web-based program that uses the company's EYOp™ (Enrollment Yield Optimization) tool. A pre-orientation program designed to help yield more students and prepare them for college success, EYOp immerses participants in engaging content, surveys and e-community features. Trojan Track covers topics such as Troy history, choosing a major, time management and paying for college. UPeers™, one of the program's built-in community features, allows admitted students to connect with other admitted students and share academic and personal interests in a secure, private environment. Using EYOp's UBlog™ tool, new students become acquainted with college life by tuning into the advice of upperclassmen working as online mentors for the university. An interactive game, Sword Hoard, lets students compete for prizes while encouraging them to continue exploring program content up to the point of matriculation. In addition, the program includes a dashboard of reporting features, such as automated alerts, that enable administrators to gauge admitted students' attitudes toward the institution at any given time - for example, whether the student favors, disfavors or remains undecided about the school. Troy also uses the company's SmartSearch™ product, a tool designed to increase the number of inquiries the school generates from cold leads. "Given the consumer demands for timeliness and the bells and whistles that come with technology today, we began to search for a more innovative tool to reach our students during critical periods of the recruitment cycle," said Buddy Starling, dean of enrollment services at Troy. "EYOp provided the answer. Because of EYOp, our students are better oriented to our campus, the buy-in is there, and we are better positioned to engage them once they are here. GoalQuest also got to know us. They became ingrained in our culture and put people on our project who appreciated that culture." "Just as no single factor determines where students choose to apply to college, a range of different influences affects where they ultimately matriculate," said Peter Tomassi, vice president of product development and editor-in-chief at GoalQuest. "EYOp's effectiveness is found in its multi-tiered approach to content - including informational and e-community features - as well as the intelligence it provides administrators so that they can follow up personally with on-the-fence students."
