Texas Christian University Turns to GoalQuest to Matriculate More Diverse, Higher Achieving Freshman Class TCU Chooses EYOp™ Tool to Help Shape Class of 2009 Through a Unique Pre-Orientation Program New York, New York — March 31, 2005 GoalQuest, Inc. today announced that Texas Christian University has deployed one of its enrollment management tools to communicate with students admitted to the class of 2009. TCU is using GoalQuest EYOp™ (for Enrollment Yield Optimization), a Web-based transition program designed to strategically increase enrollment yield by immersing new admits in a series of interactive content modules written, produced and hosted by GoalQuest. The program, which launched this week, is available exclusively to accepted students who may opt in via e-mail upon receiving their offer of admission. Titled Inside TCU: Your Guide to What Horned Frogs Do, the service covers topics such as keys to academic success, choosing a major, sports and activities, exploring the Fort Worth/Dallas area, as well as key events and pre-enrollment timelines—all before orientation and fall classes commence. GoalQuest worked closely with TCU to create the highly interactive service, which aims to court students still undecided about their ultimate enrollment. Updated regularly with fresh material, the program engages users in a fun, "virtual bonding" experience with the University, its culture and its mission. The program challenges participants to make an impact on the world, asking, for instance, whether they are ready to find a cure for cancer, land a woman on Mars, win the Nobel Prize for Literature, get the gold at the next Olympics or shine as examples of ethics and leadership. According to Larry D. Lauer, Vice Chancellor for Marketing and Communication at TCU, "I have watched the development of GoalQuest since Peter Kraft launched the enterprise and have been impressed with its apparent accomplishments. So we are very much looking forward to working with the company and its staff and will expect that this project will bring added interest and impact to our overall integrated marketing program." The new program will take advantage of GoalQuest modules like the Student Service Center (SSC), which lets participants ask questions about financial aid, student accounts and housing. The SSC time-stamps and routes these queries to the correct university personnel for immediate follow-up. TCU will also utilize the Company's advanced survey and assessment technology to track students' individual attitudes and opinions and pinpoint any concerns that may affect their decision to enroll. "GoalQuest is excited at the opportunity to partner with TCU to improve the quality and diversity of its already impressive student body," said Kent Adams, Vice President of Sales at GoalQuest. "Given the high standards of the University's internal marketing and communications staff, we believe that TCU's decision to partner with GoalQuest reflects the ability of our content development team to custom-create an interactive experience that truly enhances the institution's existing initiatives."
