University of Missouri-Columbia Turns to GoalQuest EYOp™ to Help Achieve Enrollment Yield Objectives Mizzou Launches Innovative Web-Based Communications Program to Reach Out to Admitted Students and Speed Their Transition to Campus Community New York, New York — March 14, 2005 GoalQuest, Inc. today announced that the University of Missouri-Columbia has begun using its enrollment management tools to communicate with students who have been admitted to the school. As part of the multi-year agreement, the University will use GoalQuest EYOp™ (for Enrollment Yield Optimization), a Web-based pre-orientation program that immerses admits in a series of interactive content modules, each custom written and designed by the Company. According to Ann J. Korschgen, Ph.D, Vice Provost for Enrollment Management at MU, "After considering a number of prospective partners, we selected the GoalQuest EYOp program for its ability to provide admitted students with highly relevant, added-value content over the course of several months, while also giving our administration access to real-time indicators of student usage and yield likelihood." The program, which launched in February, covers topics such as residence hall life, choosing a major, exploring a career, learning about the city of Columbia and getting ready for fall classes. It answers students' frequently asked questions with in-depth descriptions meant to aid their transition to college social and academic life-several months prior to the beginning of their first academic term. The new program also utilizes GoalQuest modules like the Student Service Center (SSC), which lets users ask questions about financial aid, student accounts and housing. The SSC time-stamps and routes these queries to the correct university personnel for immediate follow-up. As part of the agreement, MU enrollment management staff will gain access to GoalQuest's advanced Reporting Center, which compiles information on SSC queries, answers to survey responses as well as details of student progression through the program. "An institution of Mizzou's size and resources is certainly not lacking the expertise to orchestrate its own sophisticated communications," said GoalQuest CEO Peter L. Kraft. "We are delighted that the University decided to partner with GoalQuest, a reflection of both our unique products and our ability to act as an extension of Mizzou's enrollment management team. We also believe it is a testament to the quality of the content in our programs that GoalQuest was chosen by a school known internationally for its excellent communications programs."
