Halyard Education Partners' GoalQuest Introduces Institutional Research and Assessment System (iRAS™) Assessment and Attrition Warning Tool Helps Colleges Respond Faster New York, New York—November 1, 2007 GoalQuest, the Retention Services Division of Halyard Education Partners, today announced the launch of iRAS™, a comprehensive assessment and reporting service that enables colleges to measure the engagement and satisfaction of students, parents, faculty and alumni while evaluating overall institutional effectiveness in a range of areas. Unlike traditional approaches to survey and assessment, iRAS provides real-time, actionable data, such as automated early warning alerts designed to help administrators respond quickly and more effectively. The service is believed to be the first to bring together a broad selection of survey types within a single reporting dashboard that feeds the complex research needs of entire campuses. iRAS draws on GoalQuest's proprietary messaging system, which deploys "response-sensitive" reminder messages to track and maximize recipient response. In addition, GoalQuest works with each school to customize survey language and to design a look and feel that reflects existing communications. "The Undergraduate Admissions Office at Quinnipiac University has chosen to work with iRAS to enhance our research efforts and keep up with the current interests and trends of today's students," said Joan Isaac Mohr, vice president and dean of admissions. "The people at iRAS work with us as a team to focus our surveys on the items we care about, and help maximize the response rate, resulting in information that we can actually use. iRAS adds to the overall effectiveness of GoalQuest's suite of products geared to capture the interest of high school students and their parents." "In iRAS, colleges will find not only a comprehensive set of survey instruments, but also a unique reporting toolkit that enables them to intervene in practical, immediate ways," said Dr. Adam Troy, director of research at GoalQuest. "We are not surprised to discover that schools are already welcoming these inexpensive solutions into their institutional research strategy." GoalQuest offers iRAS in bundles grouped by population, starting at $5,000 per year. In addition to the real-time reporting center, the service includes an end-of-year summary and recommendations report that identifies institutional strengths and weaknesses. Implementation of this program over multiple years gives schools access to end-of-year reporting that tracks areas of improvement and changes from year to year. Throughout the run of the program, GoalQuest provides clients access to assessment specialists who can answer questions and offer expert customer assistance.
