EducationDynamics Names New Vice President for Retention Products
Former University of South Carolina Student Success Advocate Will Oversee Company's Retention Client Relationships

New York, NY — December 20, 2007

The Enrollment and Retention Services Divisions of EducationDynamics, LLC, (formerly known as GoalQuest), today announced that Dr. Chrissy Coley has joined its management team as vice president for retention products.

As assistant vice provost for student success initiatives at the University of South Carolina, Dr. Coley provided leadership for the Student Success Center (which coordinates comprehensive initiatives to support students' academic success and personal transition), co-chaired the university's Retention Committee, and coordinated assessment and strategic planning initiatives related to student persistence and degree completion.

Dr. Coley has also worked in student affairs at Mercer University, Appalachian State University, and Columbia College, where she served as dean of students. In her new position, she will serve as the senior account executive for the company's retention clients and also contribute to the ongoing development of the company's retention and parent products.

"I am extremely excited to serve as a member of the EducationDynamics team," said Dr. Coley. "The Retention Services Division is passionate about the role its products play in fostering student learning, engagement, and success. We remain in a mode of continuous product enhancement as we strive to offer the most relevant and useful resources for higher education professionals to incorporate into their strategic retention initiatives. Our goal is to provide exemplary service and support as our clients optimize the use of these tools at their institutions, as well as to provide the means for colleges and universities to demonstrate a high level of accountability to their own constituents through promoting and measuring student success."

"Dr. Coley's experience with student success and retention initiatives makes her an outstanding fit for the company's retention programs, which are now entering the eighth year of their evolution," said Tracy Howe, executive vice president and co-founder of GoalQuest. "Her involvement at the University of South Carolina, widely recognized as an international leader in student transition programming, as well as her experience and passion for improving student success will ensure that our products continue to develop in both their research/theory base and their level of student engagement."
