GoalQuest, Inc. Partners With University of New Haven and University of Southern Indiana GoalQuest builds eCRUIT, EYOp, FYRe and PICS:FYRe programs to impact recruiting, enrollment yield, freshman retention and parent communications New York, New York-- October 3, 2003 - The University of New Haven and the University of Southern Indiana have enlisted GoalQuest, Inc., a software company providing automated, intelligence-based enrollment management tools, to develop customized programs for prospects, admits, freshmen and parents. GoalQuest provides a suite of Web-based tools that deliver highly customized programs to prospective, admitted and enrolled students; alumni; and parents of each of these audiences. The company's core products include the proprietary eCRUIT, EYOp, PICS and AlumNet programs, which dramatically improve communication effectiveness and efficiency with school constituents. Each GoalQuest product is based on a proprietary messaging technology that deploys "nuggets" of information and engaging activities to a school's target audience, while monitoring engagement in that information over time. GoalQuest's Enrolligence index then delivers real-time engagement data to provide schools with unprecedented communication intelligence for more informed decisions. This dynamic knowledge-base can help impact acceptance and enrollment yield, student attrition, alumni development and other key enrollment and development metrics. The University of New Haven will utilize GoalQuest's eCRUIT and EYOp modules to target prospective students and admits. The programs seek to increase the quantity and quality of applications, while optimizing the enrollment yield of admitted students. eCRUIT's Web-based sessions are designed to engage high school prospects with highly relevant content, such as expert tips on college selection and on creating successful applications, while building interest in UNH and increasing qualified applications. EYOp will be deployed to accepted students and provide UNH with critical intelligence on yield likelihood as well as attitudinal survey information that can be used for targeted admissions follow-up. According to Matthew Wade, Vice President of Sales at GoalQuest, "the University of New Haven is in the process of transforming itself from a commuter-based school into a residential university. They see the communicative power of GoalQuest's programs as an optimal tool to help achieve their goals and effectively distribute their message during the critical admission and yield recruiting windows." University of Southern Indiana's custom FYRe and PICS:FYRe programs target freshmen and their parents to increase student retention and strengthen academic and social development by reaching out directly to students and enhancing the school's relationship with parents. Each interactive module engages students with information on subjects ranging from academic skills and leadership development to avoiding roommate problems and risk behavior. The programs enable students and parents to provide feedback on their progress and to ask questions of university resources and support services. Dr. Robert Parrent, USI's Vice President of Student Affairs, said of the new venture, "USI is very excited about its partnership with GoalQuest. GoalQuest's FYRe program is helping USI to support and develop its 2,079 first-year students, and PICS is working with parents of those students. Both programs aim to enhance our retention rate and ensure total student satisfaction and success in their educational endeavors at the University of Southern Indiana." UNH and USI will both take advantage of GoalQuest's new program features, including integrated Live Alerts to narrowcast time-sensitive announcements and custom survey and assessment modules that track user performance and satisfaction.
