GoalQuest proudly announces the completion of the inaugural year of its internship program. For the past eight weeks, nine interns from colleges and universities across the country worked in GoalQuest's NYC office and lived together in a nearby SoHo apartment. The interns obtained real world experience in sales, marketing, production, editorial, research, and office management. They set up and attended client meetings, created contests, attended sales meetings, produced an original video, and became valued members of the GoalQuest team. Whether learning how to meet a client or editing an interactive video, the interns were given the opportunity to contribute creatively to the company. They not only experienced what it's like to work for a high tech software company, but also what it's like to live as New Yorkers.
This crew laid the groundwork for the GQ Internship Program, which we plan to expand this fall.

GoalQuest invited two students to intern in NYC based on their outstanding contributions to their schools' programs. Katie Glonek, a TCU graduate student, helped promote TCU's FYRe program during the academic year. She developed content, trained first-year instructors and orientation leaders, and implemented UFindIt and Room Renovators. While at GoalQuest she worked on a program development curriculum for graduate students. Chris Bohle, a senior at Spring Arbor University, acted in a video filmed for his school's EYOp program and later obtained an hourly position as a summer intern. He contributed to the development of an EYOp internship curriculum that will be ready in a few months. For more information about GoalQuest program development and EYOp internships, contact Melanie Cohen.
