What is GoalQuest's Student Wellness Suite?

GoalQuest's Student Wellness Suite offers a suite of online student health and wellness services, content written and supervised by GoalQuest's team of physicians, psychologists and other mental health professionals. The program content includes psychoeducational articles, video, audio, self-assessment screening tools, and interactive self-improvement/self-help modules, which are presented in a dynamic, stimulating format to engage today's media-saturated college students.

The suite offers four components that can be bundled together or purchased individually:

  • 1. Student HealthQuest: Is a comprehensive program designed to promote student physical and psychological health and wellness, prevent the development or exacerbation of psychological disorders, and to provide a self-help format to alleviate student distress. This is a university-wide wellness campaign, which is deployed throughout the year to the entire student population.
  • 2. eScreening: Is an automated, year-long mental and physical health screening program that provides assessments of student mental and physical health on national screening days, such as Eating Awareness Week.
  • 3. Patient Pathway: Is as an online self-help site providing an adjunct to therapy, which is available to students receiving services through the school's counseling center. The modules provide topic-specific education, symptom measurement, homework and interactive self-help activities to students, and therapists can track patient progress through a secure live reporting center.
  • 4. AlcoholFocus: Is an engaging, personalized alcohol abuse education and prevention program oriented toward all incoming students as a required part of a freshman experience course, or an elective student health resource. It is designed to educate college students about the physical, emotional, and social consequences of excessive drinking using a non-judgmental, harm reduction approach.

All programs are deployed in an online, web-based format, which is convenient for administrators and students. Students are familiar with this format and can respond to questionnaires and participate in the programs from the privacy of their home. All email communications and webpages are designed to look like they are coming from your institution with your school's colors and logo, as well as important information about and links to your school's resources.

The programs are based on empirically-supported strategies and principles. In addition, we conduct efficacy evaluations and students are regularly asked to provide feedback about the programs so that we can continually improve our services.
